What we are

One Call Accordion Shutters is a referral and scheduling service for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. We connect you with an independent local accordion shutter installer and arrange the visit. We are not the contractor, we do not perform the work, and we are not a party to the agreement you make with the installer.

The installer

The installer is an independent business. They are responsible for their own work, for holding whatever licence, registration and insurance Florida, the county and the city require of them, for pulling any permit the job needs, and for the price they quote you. We do not endorse or vouch for anyone's credentials, and a description such as “installer” or “vetted” on this site is not a statement that any particular licence or insurance is held. Product approvals (a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance or a Florida Product Approval) belong to the product; the permit and the inspection belong to your building department, and nothing on this site is a statement that any product or installation will be accepted by them.

Prices

We publish no prices and we do not quote them, because the price depends on the job and on your home. The estimate is free. Your installer gives you the price before any work begins and you approve it first. Most estimates are given in writing after the openings are measured.

Safety

The guides and free tools on this site are general information, not professional advice. Nothing on this site is an instruction to drill into your walls, re-anchor a shutter, or work from a ladder at height; the advice on our pages is there to be taken seriously. In an emergency, or when a storm is under way, call 911 or follow your county's emergency instructions, not us.

Calls and texts

When you send a request, you are agreeing that we may call or text you back about your job at the number you gave, and that calls may be recorded. Message and data rates may apply. Tell us to stop and we stop.

Limits

Because we arrange the service rather than perform it, any claim arising from the work itself lies with the installer who did it. Our own liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, which for a referral is usually nothing.
